Water is a vital ingredient for all living things, and human civilization has developed around water. “/Fruits of Labor" draws inspiration from the development history of the water canal at Damaopu, which was made possible through the arduous endeavors of our forebearers. As a result, their descendants can now live in prosperity and harmony on this land.

The artwork features corridors inspired by the Chinese character for 'Water (水)' constructed using bamboo arranged in a random fashion, symbolizing the difficulties and challenges encountered by our ancestors while developing the water canal. After passing through the corridor, the blossom woven from bamboo represents vivacious life nurtured by the water canal, forming a large art installation that doubles as an interactive and recreational space.
